A charity playgroup has received donated storage bays from Rapid Racking.
A charity playgroup based in Tetbury sought out Rapid Racking to help improve the site’s storage facilities.
The Chair of St Mary’s Playgroup, Claire Josselyn, inquired if Rapid Racking had any spare shelving they could use in a newly acquired storage container to help organise the playgroup’s supplies.
The playgroup operates from Christ Church Hall in Tetbury, providing educational facilities to children aged between two and nine years old. Mrs Josselyn says that the only thing that the hall lacks is storage space for the growing playgroup.
In response to the Chair’s request, Rapid’s Head of Product and Services, Tom Ellis, acquired 3-Bays of Rapid 3 Pro shelving to donate to the group.
Speaking of the donation, Claire Josselyn said: “Being based at the back of Christ Church in Tetbury, we share the space with other organisations and therefore our amazing team have to pack away after each session. Offering such diverse and broad-ranging activities requires a lot of storage space.

“In addition to our committee, we are also very fortunate to have a fantastic fundraising team who also require storage for our regular Bags2School collections and for items for the events they organise. With many different items being stored, organisation is essential and thanks to Rapid Racking we are easily able to arrange and order items.”
As the playgroup is local to Rapid’s Kemble site employees Ryan Collins, Junior Product Manager, and Claire Dukes, Customer Marketing Executive, volunteered to deliver and build the racking for the playgroup.
Mrs Josselyn added: “As locals, we all know Rapid Racking, not only from word of mouth but also from driving past their warehouse by Kemble airfield (particularly those of us who have children who love watching the planes!).
“After discussing the need for shelving within the storage container, one of our committee members recommended Rapid Racking as a company to contact. As a charity run playgroup we rely on donations and are so very grateful to Rapid Racking for providing us with a superb solution for storage.”
