Saywell International is a large supplier of aircraft parts based in the south of England. Recently Saywell International relocated to a new facility with over 155,000 feet of storage space. This required a complete review of how Saywell International used its storage space. Rapid Racking and Saywell International agreed a variety of racking methods to protect their spares which support the aircraft industry. Due to the spectrum of sizes and weights of parts to be stored, Saywell required a diverse range of products to ensure efficient organisation of their storage space. Rapid Racking have supplied the company with Rapid 1 and 2 shelving, Pallet Racking, Cantilever Racking and
Workbenches – enabling small parts storage in small boxes to large aircraft spares to be stored effectively.

Cantilever Racking is often the best storage solution when needing to store products of significant length and weight. The Unipart Group, one of Europe’s leading independent logistics, automotive parts and accessory companies, contacted Rapid Racking to devise a cantilever storage system to meet their specific requirements.
The system was designed to store lengths of aluminium alloy up to 24 metres long, with particular attention to the safety considerations necessary. The Design Team worked closely with Unipart and a specialist handling supplier to ensure that Rapid could provide the most efficient and effective solution, providing maximum storage capacity and adequate handling areas.

Rapid Racking worked with Fabulous Bakin’ Boys to optimise space usage in their busy warehouse operation storing goods ready for despatch.
A drive-in racking system was installed some years ago, and has been extended. This offers the best use of floor space, designed to suit customers’ pallet size and weight. Dense storage is provided for finished goods ready for collection, to suit the company’s despatch requirements.

Rapid Racking worked on proposals to enable their distributor, Dannah Storage & Handling Systems, to offer an efficient design solution for GOJO® Industries - Europe Ltd new distribution centre. GOJO is a leading manufacturer who specialise in skin care in the working environment.
The project included pallet racking, mesh enclosures, handrails and signage. Narrow Aisle Racking ensures best use of floor space -
