This is probably due to a setting in your Internet Explorer browser which disables Session Cookies. Our website uses session cookies to remember what you have added to the basket and so your browser needs to be able to allow these to function correctly. Most shopping baskets work in a similar way, so I would suggest you change your settings as follows:
1. On your Microsoft Internet Explorer menu bar (5+), go to Tools and choose Internet Options 2. Select the Security tab and choose the Internet Zone (the world icon) 3. Click on Custom level and scroll down the list of options until you reach Cookie settings. 4. Make sure the Allow Session Cookies option is set to Enable. 5. Click OK and save the security settings 6. You should now be able to add items to the shopping basket without them being lost.
